Set a custom Check-in frequency on a single person's account settings page. The individual frequency overrides any group or company default for that person.
Before You Begin
- Make frequency changes at the start of a new Check-in period. Changes made mid-period may create duplicate or missing Check-ins.
- To update multiple people at once, use bulk import instead. See Bulk update people.
Steps
- In the left panel, select Manage People under People.
- Search for the person whose frequency you want to change.
- Click the person's name to open their account settings.
- Scroll down to the Check-in frequency section.
- Check the box next to Independent frequency.
- Select the desired frequency: Weekly, Every other week, or Monthly.
- Click Save at the bottom of the page.
If Something Goes Wrong
| Issue | Check | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Independent frequency checkbox is not visible | Confirm you have Account Admin access | Contact your 15Five administrator to verify your role |
| Frequency change did not apply to the person's next Check-in | Confirm the change was saved before the current Check-in period ended | Revert to the previous setting, wait for a new period to begin, then re-apply |
| Duplicate or missing Check-ins appear after the change | Frequency was changed mid-period | Contact 15Five Support with the affected user's name and the date of the change |
