Track the progress of assigned actions

Admins and managers use the Manage actions tab to monitor the status of actions assigned to employees. When complete, the actions list reflects only items matching your selected filters.

Before You Begin

  • You must have access to the Manage actions tab. Account Admins have access by default. Managers of managers have access to actions they created.

Steps

  1. Click Actions in the left-hand navigation.
  2. Click the Manage actions tab at the top of the page.
  3. Click Show filters to expand filter options.
  4. Apply one or more filters to narrow the list:

- Type — Action Item, Discussion, Coaching Session, Complete Course, Complete Microlearning, Create OKR (Company, Group, Individual, Self Development), Give High Five - Status — Open, Completed, Expired, Archived - Due date — Any, Today, This week, Next week, Past due - People — Select a person to see their assigned actions

  1. Review the Actions list, which updates to match your selected filters.
Note: When the final action item in an Action Plan is completed, the plan closes automatically and sends a notification to the plan creator and all HR Admins.

If Something Goes Wrong

Issue Check Fix
Manage actions tab is not visible Confirm your role is Account Admin or Manager of managers Contact your HR Admin to request access to the Manage actions tab
Actions list is empty after applying filters Verify the Status filter is not excluding active items (e.g., set to Archived only) Clear all filters and reapply one at a time to isolate the cause
A specific person does not appear in the People filter Confirm the person has been assigned at least one action Ask the person's manager to assign an action, then refresh the page
