Use Manager Copilot to generate an AI-drafted objective title and description from prompted answers. When complete, a new objective appears on the Objectives dashboard.
> Note: Your organization may have renamed this feature. If you don't see "Objectives" in your navigation, check with your admin for the name used in your account.
Before You Begin
- You must have a Transform seat assigned to your account to access Manager Copilot.
- Objectives must be enabled for your organization. See Enable or disable Objectives for instructions.
Steps
- Go to Objectives in the left-hand navigation.
- Click Create a new objective in the top-right corner.
- Click Draft Objective inside the "What is your objective" text box.
- Answer the prompted questions in the Manager Copilot panel that opens on the left side of the screen.
- Review the generated objective title and description Manager Copilot produces.
- Ask follow-up questions to refine the output. Examples:
- "Can you make the title more concise?" - "Can you add emojis to the objective or key result titles?" - "What are some key results to measure success?" - "What key results could I delegate to team members seeking more responsibility?" - "What potential hurdles should we prepare for?" - "Should this be an individual, group, or company objective?" - "What is an appropriate timeframe for this objective?"
- Copy the generated title and description from the Manager Copilot panel.
- Paste the content into the appropriate fields on the objective creation form.
- Edit the fields as needed.
- Click Create objective at the bottom of the form.
If Something Goes Wrong

| Objective does not appear on the dashboard after saving | Confirm you clicked Create objective and saw a confirmation state | Return to Objectives and refresh the page; if missing, repeat steps 8–10 |
