Use Kona Coach in Google Meet (Manager)

Schedule a 1:1 in Google Calendar with the Kona bot to have Kona join your Google Meet and deliver a post-meeting summary with coaching insights.

Before You Begin

  • Your admin must have completed Kona setup and granted you Kona access in 15Five.
  • You must have a Google Calendar account linked to your 15Five account.

Steps

  1. Open Google Calendar and create a new event for your 1:1.
  2. Add your direct report as a guest.
  3. Add bot@15five.com as a guest.
  4. Under Add conferencing, select Google Meet.
  5. Schedule the meeting at least 5–10 minutes in advance.
  6. Save and send the invite.

During the meeting

  1. Start the Google Meet at the scheduled time.
  2. Kona joins automatically — it appears as a standard participant named Kona.
  3. Kona begins taking notes automatically.

After the meeting

  1. Check your email or Slack (if enabled) for your post-meeting summary.

Post-meeting delivery includes:

  • A summary of meeting discussion points
  • A list of action items
  • Personalized coaching tips (visible to you only — not your direct report)

Your direct report receives the meeting notes and action items only.
