Understand the 15Five individual profile

A person's profile in 15Five provides a structured view of their work activity, team connections, career information, and self-reflection data. The profile is distinct from account settings — it shows engagement and contribution data, not configuration options.

Note: Your organization may have renamed the Best-Self Review® feature. If you don't see "Best-Self Review®" in your navigation, check with your admin for the name used in your account.

Feature Structure

A profile consists of four tabs. Each tab surfaces a different category of information about the person.

About Tab

The About tab contains science-backed questions about work preferences, strengths, and communication styles. Answers from this tab are used in the Best-Self Kickoff® meeting.

Includes:

  • Answers to About questions (individual responses can be set to private)
  • Team information: Check-in followers, groups, and direct reports
  • A link to schedule or view the person's Best-Self Kickoff®

Activity Tab

The Activity tab shows a person's engagement and work output across 15Five features.

Includes:

  • Pulse trend data
  • Objectives and progress percentages
  • Recent Check-ins and submission rates
  • Past 1-on-1 meetings
  • High Fives given and received

Wins & Challenges Tab

The Wins & Challenges tab is a private reflection space for recording achievements and obstacles. Both the person and their manager can add entries. This tab is not visible to other roles.

Career Tab

The Career tab displays strengths, values, passions, job title, and responsibilities. An aspirational job title can be added to support career growth conversations.

Key Rules

  • All roles can view the About and Activity tabs for any person in the 15Five instance.
  • The Wins & Challenges tab is visible only to the person and their direct manager. Each sees a separate tab — managers do not see the employee's entries, and employees do not see their manager's entries.
  • The aspirational job title in the Career tab is not visible to managers or admins. Confirm current visibility rules with your admin, as this behavior may vary by configuration.
  • The gear icon on a profile (top-right corner) provides access to account settings, notification settings, and vacations. This icon is visible only to Account Admins and the person's direct manager.
