Suggested email templates to announce coaching 📝

When starting with 15Five Transform Coaching, it's crucial to communicate its purpose to your organization, emphasizing its role in increasing manager effectiveness, a key driver of engagement, performance, and retention.

Make sure the managers who are assigned coaching understand that coaching is a positive opportunity for their growth, not a consequence of poor performance. To help ease any concerns, use the email templates provided below.

Template: Admin to new group coaching participant

Hi Managers,

We are excited to announce that [COMPANY NAME] is partnering with 15Five to provide online manager training. 15Five was chosen because [INSERT WHY].

  • Add details for your coaching session: Share information about what you hope to achieve in your session. This will help your coach tailor coaching specifically for you, ensuring a meaningful and impactful experience that maximizes your time together.
  • Complete your coaching profile: Completing your profile helps build a strong relationship with your coach and gets you to start thinking about what will help you achieve the most growth and development in your coaching session. Your responses are only visible to your coach.
  • Attend your coaching session!

1:1 Coaching Notifications

Action Plan Launch Email

If you assigned 1:1 Coaching as part of an Action Plan, managers will receive an email when you launch the Action Plan. You can customize the subject line and message from the Action Plan's Overview page. Here's an example:

Action Item: Schedule 1:1 Coaching Session

Once you assign a 1:1 coaching session(s), selected managers will see an action item on their homepage asking them to schedule the coaching session. If the coaching session was assigned as part of an Action Plan, it will not appear on manager homepages until the selected start date.

Action Item: Attend 1:1 Coaching Session

After the manager schedules an assigned 1:1 coaching session, the action on their homepage will update to "Attend 1-on-1 Coaching Session," followed by thecoach's name and the date and time of the session.

Cancellation Policy: Should you need to cancel or reschedule your coaching session, you may do so up to 48 hours (business days) prior to your session. If you fail to cancel your session within the appropriate window, your session will be automatically expired and you will not be able to reschedule unless an additional session is purchased.

In addition to coaching, Transform offers on-demand training courses for managers. Below, you can read through the notifications that managers assigned courses will receive.

Action Item: Complete Microlearning

Microlearning is a series of bite-sized video courses designed to enhance manager effectiveness within the flow of work. Check out our full Microlearning course library.

Once you assign a Microlearning to managers, they will see an action item on their homepage asking notifying them they're response for completing the course. Managers can click on the action to access the assigned course.

How can I purchase 1:1 coaching for my managers?

Account admins can purchase 1:1 coaching sessions by reaching out to your 15Five Account Executive (AE). 1:1 coaching is available as an add-on to companies on any pricing plan.

How can I purchase group coaching for my managers?

Group coaching is available in our Group Coaching, Copilot, & Content Transform Pricing Plan. Please reach out to your Account Executive or Customer Success Manager if you're interested. If you don't have an assigned AE or CSM, contact us to learn more about purchasing group coaching.

What will {Session Descriptions} fields look like in emails?

Many of the email notifications listed above contain a field for {Session Description}. Below you can read through what these descriptions will look like in those emails.

  • 1:1 Coaching: Coaching is a collaborative conversation focused on helping you gain the tools you need to achieve your goals. Using strategic coaching tools—inquiry, self-reflection, role play, skill development, etc.—your coach will support you through the process of increasing self-awareness, practicing new skills or mindsets, and taking in feedback.
  • Group Coaching: Group coaching is focused on helping your group process your experiences, share learnings, identify opportunities, and create collective accountability for growth and development. Your group will commit to a particular outcome or learning objective for each session.
  • 1:1 Engagement Action Planning: Engagement action planning helps you interpret your engagement insights at a team or department level. You’ll work with a coach to develop a tactical plan to address short-term issues or meet short-term goals.
  • Group Engagement Action Planning: Group engagement action planning helps your group interpret engagement insights at a team or department level. Your group will work with a coach to develop a tactical plan to address short-term issues or meet short-term goals.
  • Transform Skill Intensive: Transform skill intensives are group sessions where your group will work with a coach to build on a skill.
  • OKR Coaching: OKR coaching helps you through the iterative process of OKRs. You’ll be able to join an open office session with a coach to receive hands-on support with OKRs and related questions.
  • OKR Skill Intensive: OKR skill intensives are interactive team workshops on the basics and building of OKRs. As a group, you’ll explore success strategies for alignment, ownership, and dependency.
