Bulk deactivate user accounts

Use the checkbox selection and Actions menu in Manage People to deactivate multiple user accounts in one operation. Selected users lose 15Five access immediately after confirmation.

Before You Begin

  • You must have access to Manage People. Account admins can deactivate any user. Managers can deactivate users within their reporting hierarchy only.
  • If your company uses SCIM or an HRIS integration, deactivate users there instead. Manual deactivation in 15Five may be reversed at the next sync. Check Company Settings → Integrations to confirm whether an integration is active.

Steps

  1. Click People in the left-hand navigation.
  2. On the Manage People page, use the search bar or filters to find the users you want to deactivate.
  3. Click the checkbox to the left of each user's name you want to deactivate.
  4. Click the Actions button that appears above the user list.
  5. Select Deactivate from the Actions dropdown.
  6. In the confirmation pop-up, select a reason for deactivation for each user.
  7. Click Deactivate account to confirm.

> If any selected user is a manager, 15Five will prompt you to assign someone to take over their direct reports before completing deactivation.

After deactivation, selected users move to the Deactivated tab and can no longer access 15Five.
