Archiving an objective preserves its last known status — including overall completion percentage and key result progress — and prevents further updates. When complete, the objective displays an Archived label on the All Objectives page.
Before You Begin
- You must have permission to manage the objective you want to archive.
- Objectives must be enabled for your account. See Enable or disable Objectives for instructions.
Steps
- Click Objectives in the left navigation.
- On the All Objectives page, apply filters to locate the objective.
- Click the objective name to open its details page.
- Click the gear icon on the details page.
- Click Archive objective.
- Review the confirmation pop-up.
- Click Archive.
What Success Looks Like
After archiving, the objective displays an Archived label in your Check-in for one Check-in cycle, then is removed from Check-in view. A notification email with the subject line "An objective has been archived" is sent to you and your manager.
If Something Goes Wrong
