Reopen a closed or archived objective

Note: Your organization may have renamed this feature. If you don't see "Objectives" in your navigation, check with your admin for the name used in your account.

Admins, managers, and employees with edit permission can reopen a closed or archived objective to resume tracking progress. When complete, the objective is visible again on the All Objectives page.

Before You Begin

Steps

  1. Go to Objectives in the left navigation.
  2. Use the filters at the top of the page to locate the objective.

> Tip: Select Closed or Archived in the Objective state filter to display only closed or archived objectives.

  1. Click the name of the objective to open its details page.
  2. Click the gear icon in the objective's title box.
  3. Select Unarchive objective from the dropdown menu.

What Success Looks Like

After completing step 5, the following system states confirm success:

  • The objective reopens with its last known status, progress, and metrics intact.
  • The objective appears on the All Objectives page under Current objectives or Past due objectives.
  • The reopen action is recorded in the objective's Activity feed.
