Invite settings control which roles can add users, whether bulk-imported users receive immediate access, and what the invite email says. Changes take effect for all subsequent invitations.
Before You Begin
You must have an Account Admin role to access Company settings.
Steps
- Click the Settings gear in the bottom-left corner of your 15Five account.
- Select Company settings from the dropdown menu.
- Click the Company info tab if it is not already selected.
- Scroll down to the Invite settings section.
- Under Who has permission to add people to this account?, select one option: Everyone, Account admins only, or Account admins and managers.
- Under How should 15Five handle invite emails for bulk imports?, select Send invite emails immediately or Do not send automated invites.
- In the Invite email fields, edit the Subject line to match your organization's messaging.
- Edit the Email body field to customize the invitation message text.
- Click Save to apply all invite setting changes.
If Something Goes Wrong
| Issue | Check | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Invite setting fields are grayed out | Confirm your role is Account Admin | Log in with an Account Admin account or contact your admin |
| Bulk-imported users received emails when they should not have | Check the bulk import email setting before the import ran | Set to Do not send automated invites, then manually send invitations when ready |
| Invite email customization not appearing to recipients | Confirm you clicked Save after editing | Re-enter changes and save; verify with a test invite |
| Managers cannot add users even though the setting allows it | Check which option is selected under add-people permission | Select Account admins and managers and save |
