Admins can control whether employees can use @mentions to tag specific groups or the entire company in High Fives, Check-in text fields, and other areas of 15Five. When complete, the Mentions section displays your saved toggle states.
Before You Begin
- You must have access to Feature settings. See Configure Permissions settings (Direct Access, Mentions, Followers) if you are unsure whether your role includes this access.
Steps
- Go to Settings > Features.
- Click Features overview at the top of the page.
- Scroll to the Permissions section and click Configure to the right of Mentions.
Note: Individual @mentions cannot be disabled. The toggles in this section control group-specific and company-wide mentions only.
- Toggle group-specific or company-wide @mentions on or off.
- Click Save.
The Mentions section now displays your updated toggle states, confirming the settings were saved.
If Something Goes Wrong
| Issue | Check | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Mentions option does not appear in the Permissions section | Confirm your role has access to Feature settings | Ask your account admin to verify your role permissions |
| Save button does not respond | Check for an unsaved browser session or network interruption | Reload the page, repeat steps 3–4, and click Save again |
| Toggle state reverts after saving | Confirm you clicked Save before navigating away | Repeat steps 3–5 and verify the toggle state persists after the page reloads |
