Configure Permissions settings (Direct Access, Mentions, Followers)

The Permissions section on the Features Overview page controls three settings: Direct Access from Email, Mentions, and Followers. Configuring these determines how users access 15Five from email links and who can @mention or follow other team members.

Before You Begin

You must be an Account Admin to access these settings.

Steps

  1. Click Settings in the bottom corner of your 15Five account.
  2. Select Features from the dropdown menu.
  3. Click Features overview.
  4. Scroll down to the Permissions section.
  5. Click Configure to the right of Direct Access from Email.
  6. Toggle Direct Access on or off, then click Save.
  7. Click Configure to the right of Mentions.
  8. Enable @all mentions, @group mentions, or both, then click Save.
  9. Click Configure to the right of Followers.
  10. Toggle Followers on or off, then click Save.

What each setting does

Setting What it controls
Direct Access from Email When on, users go directly to 15Five content from email notification links without signing in first.
@all Mentions When on, users can @mention everyone in the organization in Check-ins and High Fives.
@group Mentions When on, users can @mention specific groups in Check-ins and High Fives.
Followers When on, users can send follow requests to team members to gain visibility into their Check-ins once approved.
