Review admins and Cycle collaborators use the Edit Individual Settings (EIS) page to manage participant-level settings within a review cycle. This article describes the four sections of the EIS page and what each one controls. Access the EIS page from the cycle's participant list by clicking ... next to a participant's name and selecting Edit individual settings.
> Note: Changes made on the EIS page apply only to the review cycle you are editing. Manager and direct report changes do not update any other part of 15Five.
Access: Review admins and Cycle collaborators. Requires a Perform or Total Platform pricing package.
Feature Structure
The EIS page contains four sections.
Who's writing reviews of [Participant]?
This section lists everyone responsible for writing a review about the participant. It includes the following review author types:
- Self review — Read-only. The participant is always the self review author and cannot be changed.
- Manager review — Editable as long as the existing manager has not yet submitted a manager review. Only one manager review author can be appointed. See Change the manager review author for a participant.
- Additional manager reviews — Up to five individuals can be added. Additional manager review authors can write manager reviews about the participant and can view that participant's review results.
- Peer reviews — Lists all nominated peers regardless of approval and acceptance status. If the participant has not yet nominated peers, a nudge option appears. Editing options vary by nomination status. See Approve, deny, or remove peer nominations for a participant and Nudge a person to respond to a peer nomination.
- Upward reviews — Lists the participant's direct reports who are writing upward reviews. If the participant has no direct reports, this field shows "None." You can manually add anyone to write an upward review of this participant.
Who can view reviews of [Participant]?
This section manages cycle-specific review viewers for the participant. Review viewers have view-only access to all of the participant's review results. See Add or remove a review viewer for a participant.
Which participant(s) is [Participant] reviewing?
This section lists all reviews the participant is responsible for writing. This section is read-only — you cannot edit who a participant is responsible for reviewing from their own EIS page. To change a review author assignment, click the hyperlinked name of the relevant person to open their EIS page.
Who can share and finalize the reviews of [Participant]?
This section manages sharing users: individuals who can share and finalize review results with the participant. This is a cycle-specific role. By default, only Review admins, Cycle collaborators, and the participant's manager can share and finalize review results. See Add or remove a sharing user for a participant.
Key Rules
- EIS page changes are cycle-specific. No changes propagate to the participant's profile or other review cycles.
- The manager review field can only be edited if the current manager has not yet submitted their review.
- The "Which participant(s) is [Participant] reviewing?" section is read-only on a participant's own EIS page.
- Additional manager review authors can be added up to a maximum of five per participant.
