Extend a review cycle

Admins and cycle collaborators can extend the end date of an active review cycle. The updated date appears in the review cycle list immediately after saving.

Before You Begin

  • You must have Review Admin or Cycle Collaborator access to edit cycle settings.
  • The review cycle must be unlocked. See Unlock a review cycle before proceeding.
  • This feature is available on the Perform and Total Platform pricing packages.

Steps

  1. Go to Reviews in the left-hand navigation.
  2. Click ... to the right of the review cycle you want to extend.
  3. Select Edit review cycle from the dropdown menu.
  4. Scroll to the Timeline section and click Edit.
  5. Select the new end date.
  6. Click Save.

The updated end date appears in the review cycle list confirming the change was saved.

Note: When you extend the end date, all other review admins and cycle collaborators receive a notification email. The person who made the change and review cycle participants do not receive a notification.

If Something Goes Wrong

Issue Check Fix
Edit review cycle does not appear in the dropdown The cycle is locked Unlock the review cycle first. See Unlock a review cycle.
New end date does not appear after saving The date selected is earlier than the current end date Select a date later than the current end date, then click Save again.
... menu is not visible next to the cycle Your account does not have Review Admin or Cycle Collaborator access Contact your Review Admin to confirm your role. See Who are my review admins?
