Sharing review results with the wrong participant, or sharing before the summary is ready, can be reversed. Unsharing removes the participant's access to their results and reopens the review for edits.
Before You Begin
- You must have one of these roles: the participant's manager in the review cycle, a review admin, a cycle collaborator, or an assigned sharing user.
- The review must not yet be finalized. Finalized reviews require a reopen action before unsharing is possible.
Steps
- Click Reviews in the left-hand navigation.
- Click the Review cycles tab.
- Click the name of the review cycle containing the participant.
- Use the filters or scroll to locate the participant in the Cycle Participants section.
- Click the participant's name to open their review page.
- Locate the Unshare review option at the bottom of the page.
- Click Unshare review to remove the participant's access.
- Confirm the action when prompted.
The participant's review is now reopened. Make your edits before resharing.
If Something Goes Wrong
| Issue | Check | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| No Unshare review option is visible | Confirm the review has not been finalized | Reopen the finalized review first, then unshare |
| Option is greyed out | Confirm your role — only managers, review admins, cycle collaborators, and sharing users can unshare | Ask a review admin to unshare on your behalf |
| Participant still sees results after unsharing | Ask the participant to refresh their browser | If the issue persists, contact 15Five support |
