Admins, managers, cycle collaborators, and sharing users can finalize a participant's review results to lock the review summary and make it visible to the participant.
Note: Your organization may have renamed this feature. If you don't see "Reviews" in your navigation, check with your admin for the name used in your account.
Before You Begin
- You must have one of the following roles in the review cycle: participant's manager, review admin, cycle collaborator, or assigned sharing user. See for details.
- The review summary must exist before you can finalize. See Complete a review summary for a participant for instructions.
Steps
- Go to Reviews in the left-hand navigation.
- Click the Review Cycles tab.
- Click the name of the review cycle.
- In the Cycle Participants section, use the search or filters to locate the participant.
- Click the participant's name.
- Click the Summary tab.
- Review the summary and make any final edits.
- Click Finalize results.
- Click Finalize review in the confirmation popup.
What Correct Completion Looks Like
After clicking Finalize review, the participant's summary status updates to Finalized. The Finalize results button is no longer available, and the summary is read-only. The participant receives an email notification and an in-app notification. If your organization requires acknowledgment, an Action Item is assigned to the participant.
If Something Goes Wrong
