The Gusto integration connects your Gusto people platform to 15Five, syncing employee data and enabling account provisioning and deprovisioning directly from Gusto.
Feature Structure
The integration operates as a two-way API connection between Gusto and 15Five. Once connected, Gusto acts as the source of truth for employee records.
Data synced from Gusto to 15Five:
| Gusto field | 15Five field |
|---|---|
| First name (chosen first name if set) | First name |
| Last name | Last name |
| Job title | Title |
| Work email address | |
| Manager | Direct manager |
| Department | Group |
Performance data can also be synced from 15Five to Gusto.
Key Rules
- The integration is available to all Gusto customers.
- Auto-provisioning of new hires requires a Gusto Complete or Concierge plan tier.
- Both the 15Five user and the person performing setup must be a 15Five Account Admin and a Gusto administrator.
- Unmatching an employee's account removes them from Gusto-to-15Five syncs only — it does not deactivate their 15Five account or remove their data.
- Deleting an account in Gusto removes the employee's 15Five account and access entirely.
- Disconnecting the integration stops all employee data syncing immediately.
- The 15Five Public API key is 32 characters long. The SCIM key is 30 characters long — do not confuse the two.
- The default API endpoint is
my.15five.comunless your account uses a unique subdomain.
