Enable Smart Groups

Admins can enable Smart Groups to automatically create and maintain manager-specific groups as direct reports change. When complete, Smart Groups appears as an active group type on the Manage groups page.

Before You Begin

  • You must have account admin access to Feature settings.
  • Smart Groups is available on the Perform, Focus, and Total Platform plans.

Steps

  1. Click the Settings gear in the bottom-left corner of 15Five.
  2. Go to Features > Feature overview.
  3. Locate Smart Groups in the Check-ins section.
  4. Toggle Smart Groups on.
  5. Confirm the saved-changes popup appears on screen.

If Something Goes Wrong

Issue Check Fix
Smart Groups toggle is not visible Confirm your account is on a Perform, Focus, or Total Platform plan Contact 15Five Support and provide your plan details
Saved-changes popup does not appear after toggling Refresh the page and return to Features > Feature overview If the toggle shows as off, toggle it on again and wait for the popup before navigating away
Smart Groups does not appear on the Manage groups page after enabling Verify the Show all Smart Groups to admins setting is on See Configure Smart Groups settings to enable that setting
