This article covers how to open an objective and view its details page. Only objectives you have permission to view appear on the All Objectives page.
Before You Begin
- Objectives must be enabled for your organization. See Enable or disable Objectives.
Steps
- Click Objectives in the left navigation.
- On the All Objectives page, use the keyword search or filters to locate the objective.
- Use the quick filters at the top of the page to show objectives you own or own key results for. - For full filter options, see Filter objectives on the All Objectives page.
- Click the name of the objective to open its details page.
The objective's details page displays the following:
- General information: owner, followers, tags, type, status, due date, and date of last update
- Aligned key results
- Aligned child objectives
- Linked priorities
- Activity feed
If Something Goes Wrong

| Objective does not appear on the All Objectives page | Active filters may be excluding it | Clear all filters and search by keyword; see |
| Objective name is not clickable | You do not have view permission for that objective | Contact the objective owner or your admin to request access |
| All Objectives page shows no results | Filters are set to a combination that returns zero matches | Click Reset to default to clear all active filters |
| Objective details page does not show aligned child objectives or key results | The objective has none, or aligned items are private | Confirm with the objective owner whether child objectives or key results exist and whether they are set to private |
