Admins can reactivate a previously deactivated user account from the Manage People page. After reactivation, the account either moves to the Invited tab (if an invite email is sent) or the Active tab (if no email is sent).
Before You Begin
- You must have Administration access in 15Five.
- If your organization uses SCIM or an Identity Provider (IdP) to manage user access, reactivate accounts through your SCIM integration or IdP directly. See Add People to 15Five — Overview of Methods for guidance. Changes made in 15Five may be overwritten on the next sync.
Steps
Path 1: Reactivate and send an invite email
Use this path when the person needs a new invitation to log in to 15Five.
- Go to People in the left navigation.
- Click the Deactivated tab.
- Locate the person whose account you want to reactivate.
- Check the box to the left of their name.
- Click Actions.
- Select Resend invitation from the dropdown.
- Review the details in the confirmation window.
- Click Yes, resend invitation.
Confirmed when: The person's account moves to the Invited tab. It moves to the Active tab once they accept the invitation.
Path 2: Reactivate without sending an invite email
Use this path when the person does not need an immediate invitation — for example, if they use SSO or will log in later.
- Go to People in the left navigation.
- Click the Deactivated tab.
- Locate the person whose account you want to reactivate.
- Check the box to the left of their name.
- Click Re-activate [Name]'s account at the top of the page.
Confirmed when: The person's account appears on the Active tab of the Manage People page immediately.
