Configure Kiosk mode for an engagement survey

Kiosk mode lets employees complete an engagement survey on a shared computer or tablet by searching for their name, rather than receiving a personal survey link by email.

Important: Kiosk mode is not available to all customers. Contact your Customer Success Manager to request enablement before following these steps.

Before You Begin

  • Kiosk mode must be enabled for your organization by 15Five Support. Contact your Customer Success Manager to request this.
  • You must have the Engagement Admin or Organization Admin role.

Steps

  1. Click the Settings gear in the bottom-left corner of 15Five.
  2. Select Features from the dropdown menu.
  3. Click Engagement to open Engagement feature settings.
  4. Click the Kiosk mode tab.
  5. Toggle Obfuscate employee names on or off.

- When on, employees searching for their name see a partially masked result (for example, J\\\* D instead of John Doe).

  1. Select the Kiosk Group to define which employees can be found in the kiosk search.
  2. Click Save.

What Correct Configuration Looks Like

After saving, the Kiosk mode tab reflects your selected obfuscation setting and Kiosk Group. No confirmation banner is required — the saved values display immediately on the tab.
