Send a test notification before your campaign's start date to confirm participants will receive campaign emails.
Before You Begin
- Your campaign must be saved before a test notification can be sent.
- To prevent test notifications from being blocked, add Engagement emails and domains to your allowlist first. See How to assign an administrative role for engagement campaigns for allowlist details.
Required access: Engagement module Packages: Engage, Legacy Perform, Total Platform Role: Admin
Steps
- Go to Surveys > Engagement in the left-hand navigation.
- Locate your campaign on the Engagement Overview page and click its name.
- Scroll to the Campaign schedule & reminders section.
- Click Send test notification.
- Select the recipients for the test notification.
- Click Send.
What Success Looks Like
Selected recipients receive an email from 15Five's Engagement notification sender within a few minutes of clicking Send. No error message appears after clicking Send.
If Something Goes Wrong

| Send test notification button is not visible | Confirm the campaign has been saved | Save the campaign, then return to the Campaign schedule & reminders section. |
| Send button is unresponsive | Confirm at least one recipient is selected | Select one or more recipients before clicking Send. |
