Schedule a 1:1 in Google Calendar with the Kona bot to have Kona join your Google Meet and deliver a post-meeting summary with coaching insights.
Before You Begin
- Your admin must have completed Kona setup and granted you Kona access in 15Five.
- You must have a Google Calendar account linked to your 15Five account.
Steps
- Open Google Calendar and create a new event for your 1:1.
- Add your direct report as a guest.
- Add bot@15five.com as a guest.
- Under Add conferencing, select Google Meet.
- Schedule the meeting at least 5–10 minutes in advance.
- Save and send the invite.
During the meeting
- Start the Google Meet at the scheduled time.
- Kona joins automatically — it appears as a standard participant named Kona.
- Kona begins taking notes automatically.
After the meeting
- Check your email or Slack (if enabled) for your post-meeting summary.
Post-meeting delivery includes:
- A summary of meeting discussion points
- A list of action items
- Personalized coaching tips (visible to you only — not your direct report)
Your direct report receives the meeting notes and action items only.
