The 15Five AI Assist widget lets you generate a summary of your direct report's performance data and draft first-pass answers to review questions. Use this workflow when AI Assisted Reviews are enabled for your organization.
Before You Begin
- Your organization must have AI Assisted Reviews enabled. Contact an account admin if you do not see the AI widget in your review.
- Your direct report must have submitted their self review, or the self-review deadline must have passed, before you can submit your manager review.
- Open the manager review for your direct report before starting these steps.
Steps
Generate a performance summary
- Click Summarize data in the top-right corner of your manager review.
- Use the dropdown menu in the AI widget to select a data type (High Fives, Wins & challenges, Objectives, Past Check-ins, Past reviews, Feedback, or Career Path).
- Select Summarize Data to generate an AI summary based on submitted reviews and 15Five data.
Draft an answer to a review question
- Locate the review question you want to answer.
- Click the Draft an answer icon inside the text field for that question.
- Wait for the AI widget to analyze data and generate a draft answer.
- Review the generated answer.
- Click Copy to copy the draft to your clipboard, or click Regenerate to produce a different draft.
- Paste the copied text into the question's text field and reword it in your own voice.
- To adjust tone or length, click a writing improvement tool at the bottom of the AI widget (More concise, More professional, or More informal).
- Repeat steps 4–10 for each remaining review question.
- Click the submitted-review tabs under your direct report's avatar to cross-reference any reviews already submitted about them.
- Click Submit at the bottom of the review.
If Something Goes Wrong
