Managers, review admins, cycle collaborators, and sharing users can share review results with a participant after the review summary is complete. When sharing is successful, the participant's status updates to Shared in the cycle overview and the participant receives an email and in-app notification.

> To grant additional people the ability to share and finalize results, a review admin or cycle collaborator can add them on the participant's Edit Individual Settings page. See Understand the Edit Individual Settings (EIS) page for instructions.
Before You Begin
- The review summary must be complete before sharing results. See Complete a review summary for a participant for instructions.
- The Start sharing on milestone must be active. If the Share review button is greyed out, see Why is the Share review button greyed out?.
Steps
- Go to Reviews in the left-hand navigation.
- Click the Review Cycles tab.
- Click the name of the review cycle.
- In the Cycle Participants section, search or filter for the participant's name.
- Click the participant's name.
- Click the Summary tab.
- Confirm the summary is filled out.
- Click Share review at the bottom of the page.
Confirmed: The participant's status updates to Shared in the cycle overview. The participant receives an email notification and an in-app notification.
What Happens After Sharing
Once results are shared, the participant can see all answers and summaries they have permission to view. See for the full permission breakdown.
The next step is to finalize the participant's results. After finalization, no further edits can be made unless the review is reopened.
If Something Goes Wrong

| Share review button is greyed out | Confirm the Start sharing on milestone has passed in cycle settings | A review admin or cycle collaborator must update the milestone date in cycle settings. See Why is the Share review button greyed out?. |
| Participant does not receive a notification after sharing | Confirm the share action completed and the participant's status shows Shared | Refresh the cycle overview page. If status does not show Shared, repeat steps 6–8. |
| Participant cannot see their summary after results are shared | Check whether the summary author marked the summary as private | If private, the author must unmark it. See Why can't a participant see their summary after results were shared and finalized?. |
| Results were shared by mistake | Confirm the participant's status shows Shared | Unshare results immediately. See How do I unshare review results I shared by mistake?. |
