High Fives are short recognition messages employees send to individuals, groups, or the entire company within 15Five. They appear in the High Fives Feed, in connected tools like Slack and Microsoft Teams, and as reference material during performance review cycles.
Feature Structure
The High Fives Feed is the central surface for recognition. Employees post, view, react to, and comment on High Fives here. Admins can filter and export recognition data from this feed.
Sending surfaces — High Fives can be sent from three locations:
- The High Fives Feed in 15Five
- The Check-ins workflow
- Slack (requires the Slack integration)
Recipients — A High Five can be addressed to an individual, a group, or the entire company. High Fives can also be sent to external email addresses.
Company values hashtags — Senders can tag a company value in a High Five. Values appear on leaderboards showing top givers, receivers, and values tagged.
Notifications — All recipients are notified when a High Five is submitted. Recipients and others can react with emoji or post a comment.
Review cycle reference — During a performance review cycle, High Fives given and received by a participant are surfaced in the Resources for Your Review panel. Reviewers can reference them while writing reviews.
Visibility — High Fives can be sent publicly (visible company-wide) or privately (visible only to sender and recipient).
