Use this article to remove Kona AI Coach access for a manager from the Kona Usage Report.
Before You Begin
- You must have an HR Admin or Account Admin role.
- Your organization must have an active Kona license.
- The manager must currently have Kona access enabled.
Steps
- Go to Coaching > AI Coach — Kona in the left navigation.
- Scroll to the Manager-Level Details section.
- Locate the manager whose access you want to remove.
- Click the three-dot menu next to the manager's row.
- Select Disable Kona access.
- Confirm the action in the pop-up dialog.
What Success Looks Like
The manager's row in the Manager-Level Details section updates to reflect that Kona access has been removed. The manager no longer receives AI coaching insights before or after 1-on-1 meetings.
If Something Goes Wrong
| Issue | Check | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Disable Kona access option does not appear | Confirm you have an HR Admin or Account Admin role | Contact your Account Admin to request the required role |
| Manager still receives coaching insights after disabling | The change may take up to one business day to propagate | Wait 24 hours, then verify the manager's status in the Usage Report |
| Cannot find the manager in the list | Confirm the manager has been invited to Kona | Check with your Account Admin to verify the manager's Kona enrollment status |
