Download Pulse report data

Download the Pulse Answers report to export raw Pulse data for offline analysis or sharing. The exported file contains the data visible in either the Metrics or Answers view of the Pulse Answers report.

Before You Begin

  • You must have access to Check-ins and Reporting.
  • Navigate to the Pulse Answers report before downloading. See Access and use the Pulse Dashboard for navigation steps.
  • Select the Metrics or Answers tab depending on which data set you want to export.

Steps

  1. Open the Pulse Answers report from the Pulse Dashboard.
  2. Click the Answers or Metrics tab to select the view you want to download.
  3. Apply any filters (people, Check-in frequency, time frame) to scope the data.
  4. Click Download in the top right corner of the page.
  5. In the pop-up window, select the optional fields to include in the export.
  6. Select CSV or XLSX as the file format.
  7. Click Download to save the file.

If Something Goes Wrong

Issue Check Fix
Download button is not visible Confirm you are on the Pulse Answers report, not the main Pulse Dashboard Navigate to Pulse Answers and select either the Metrics or Answers tab
Export file is empty Check that the active filters return results on screen before downloading Clear or adjust filters until data appears in the table, then re-download
Optional fields pop-up does not appear Check for browser pop-up blocker settings Allow pop-ups from 15Five in your browser settings, then retry
