Use the Check-ins Metrics Report

The Metrics report shows how individuals and groups interact with Check-in questions. Access it from the bottom of the Questions dashboard by clicking See individual metrics or See group metrics.

Before You Begin

You must have access to Check-in Reporting. Admins see data for the full organization. Managers see data only for individuals whose Check-ins they have permission to view.

Steps

  1. Open the Questions dashboard. (: Access the Check-ins Questions Dashboard)
  2. Scroll to the Individual metrics or Group metrics table at the bottom.
  3. Click See individual metrics or See group metrics.
  4. Apply the People filter to scope results to specific individuals or segments.
  5. Apply the Check-in frequency filter to narrow results by cadence.
  6. Apply the Time frame filter to set the date range.
  7. Apply the Required type filter to narrow by question requirement status.
  8. Apply the Question status filter to narrow by active or inactive questions.
  9. Click View by in the top-right corner to switch between Individual and Group type views.
  10. Check the box next to one or more names or groups to select them.
  11. Click Contact in the top-right corner of the metrics table.
  12. Compose and send a personalized email to the selected individuals.
  13. Click Download to export report data as a CSV or XLSX file.

Data included when viewing by Individuals

Name, Manager, Questions answered, Answer rate, Avg questions per Check-in, Reviewer (manager) comment rate, Avg Company-wide questions per Check-in, Avg group questions per Check-in, Avg individual questions per Check-in, Check-ins Submitted, Check-ins Reviewed, Due day, Check-in frequency, Avg Pulse, Last seen, Employee email

Data included when viewing by Groups

Group, # of people, Questions answered, Answer rate, Avg questions per Check-in, Reviewer (manager) comment rate, Avg Company-wide questions per Check-in, Avg group questions per Check-in, Avg individual questions per Check-in, Check-ins Submitted, Check-ins Reviewed, Avg team pulse

If Something Goes Wrong

Issue Check Fix
Contact button does not appear Confirm at least one checkbox is selected Check the box next to a name or group, then look for the button
No data appears in the table Verify filters are not too narrow Widen the Time frame or clear the People filter and reapply
Download produces an empty file Confirm the filtered view contains at least one row of data Adjust filters until rows appear, then download again
Manager cannot see an individual's data Confirm the manager has permission to view that person's Check-ins An admin must update Check-in visibility permissions
