Kona failed to join a scheduled 1-on-1 at the expected start time.
Diagnose
Work through these checks in order. Stop at the first condition that matches.
Check 1: Calendar connection → In 15Five, go to Settings > Features > Kona Meeting Assistant and confirm the calendar is connected. → If the calendar shows as disconnected, reconnect it (Fix A). → If connected, move to Check 2.
Check 2: bot@15five.com on the invite → Open the calendar event and review the guest list. → If bot@15five.com is missing, add it and resend the invite (Fix B). → If it is present, move to Check 3.
Check 3: Video conferencing link in the event → Open the calendar event and confirm a Zoom, Google Meet, or Teams link is present in the event body. → If no link exists, add the video conferencing option and resave (Fix C). → If a link is present, move to Check 4.
Check 4: Meeting started more than 12 minutes late → Kona joins 1 minute before the scheduled start time and waits up to 12 minutes. If no one joined within that window, Kona left automatically. → If the meeting started more than 12 minutes late, no action is possible for that session (see Fix D). → If the meeting started on time, contact 15Five Support.

- Reschedule or resend the meeting invite.
Fix B — Add the Kona bot to the invite

What Resolution Looks Like
At the next scheduled meeting, Kona appears as a participant named Kona in the meeting. Within minutes of the meeting ending, the manager receives a summary via Slack or email.
If It Still Fails
Contact 15Five Support or your company liaison. Provide the following when you reach out:
- The date and scheduled start time of the missed meeting
- The email addresses on the calendar invite (including whether
bot@15five.comwas present) - The video conferencing platform used (Zoom, Google Meet, or Teams)
- A screenshot of the calendar event
