The Kona Usage Report gives HR Admins a 30-day rolling view of how managers are engaging with Kona, 15Five's AI Coach. It surfaces adoption status, coaching activity, time savings, and manager-level detail in one report.
Access: Go to Coaching > AI Coach — Kona in the left navigation.
Required access: Kona (available as an add-on for Perform or Total Platform plans). HR Admin or Account Admin role required.
Feature Structure
The Kona Usage Report is organized into four sections:
- Manager Opportunity Callout — identifies managers who may benefit from additional coaching support based on signals from 15Five.
- Manager Stats — a summary of adoption, onboarding progress, seat usage, coaching activity, and time savings across your organization.
- Manager Insight Highlights — shows which AI coaching focus areas are trending across your manager population.
- Manager-Level Details — a per-manager breakdown of focus area, coaching received, time saved, and setup status.
Manager Opportunity Callout
This section surfaces managers who warrant additional support. Signals include manager tenure, individual performance, and team performance and engagement data.

Manager Stats
This section displays organization-wide metrics for the past 30 days.

This section shows which AI coaching focus areas are trending based on recent manager behavior. Focus areas include skills such as giving feedback, setting goals, and leading career conversations.

Manager-Level Details
This section provides a per-manager view of Kona engagement. Each row displays:
- Focus area — the AI coaching focus area assigned to the manager
- Coaching received — coaching insights delivered before or after 1-on-1 meetings
- Time saved — estimated time saved through Kona support
- Set up status — whether the manager has completed Kona onboarding
Key Rules
- The report covers the past 30 days of activity. Data does not extend beyond this window.
- HR Admins and Account Admins can view the Kona Usage Report. Managers do not have access to this report.
- Kona is an add-on feature. The report is only visible to organizations with an active Kona license.
- The Manager Opportunity Callout and Manager Insight Highlights sections link to separate reports in the HR Outcomes Dashboard — they do not display full report data inline.
What You Can Do
Manage access and seats
- Invite a Manager to Kona Coach via Account Settings
- Disable Kona access for a manager
- Add Kona seats for additional managers
