Nudge or reopen a Lifecycle Survey for a participant

Use the Nudge action to send an extra reminder to a participant whose survey is still open. Use the Reopen action to give a participant another chance to complete a survey that has already expired. After either action, the participant receives a new notification.

Before You Begin

  • You must have Account Admin access to the Lifecycle Surveys dashboard.
  • Nudge is only available when the survey is still open and the participant has not responded.
  • Reopen is only available after the survey row has expired.

Send a Nudge

  1. Click Surveys in the left-hand navigation, then select Lifecycle.
  2. Click the name of the active survey you want to manage.
  3. Locate the participant in the participant list.
  4. Click the action menu next to the participant's row and select Nudge.
  5. Review the confirmation modal, then confirm to send the reminder.

The notification uses the same copy as the automated halfway-point reminder.

Reopen an Expired Survey

  1. Click Surveys in the left-hand navigation, then select Lifecycle.
  2. Click the name of the survey containing the expired row.
  3. Locate the participant whose row shows as expired.
  4. Click the context menu next to that row and select Reopen.
  5. Review the confirmation prompt — it details the following actions that will occur:

- Survey deadline extends by 14 days. - A new notification is sent to the participant. - An automatic reminder fires if the survey is not completed within 7 days.

  1. Confirm to reopen the survey for that participant.
