Complete an upward review of your manager

This article explains how to complete an upward review of your manager in a performance review cycle. When complete, your review will show a confirmation state at the bottom of the page and your answers will be saved.

> Note: Your organization may have renamed this feature. If you don't see Reviews in your navigation, check with your admin for the name used in your account.

Before You Begin

  • Your manager must be a participant in an active review cycle that includes upward reviews. If you do not see the option to write an upward review, see .
  • This feature is available on the Perform and Total Platform pricing packages.

Steps

  1. Go to Reviews in the left-hand navigation.
  2. Click the name of the review cycle you want to write a review in.
  3. Click the Write reviews tab at the top of the page.
  4. Click your manager's name in the Reviews panel on the left side of the screen.
  5. Fill in each field with your feedback.
  6. Click View resources in the top-right corner of a question section to see supporting 15Five data for your manager (High Fives, Objectives, Past Check-ins, Feedback, and Career path).
  7. Review the Review details box on the left side of the screen to confirm transparency settings.
  8. Click Submit at the bottom of the review.

Your review is saved automatically as you write. You can leave and return at any point before submitting — no answers will be lost.
