Use the Polls dashboard to report on one-time, quantitative Check-in questions (yes/no, numerical, or rating scale) and download response data as a CSV.
Before You Begin
- You must have access to Check-ins Reporting. Account admins and managers with hierarchy access can use this feature.
- This feature is available on the Perform, Legacy Focus, and Total Platform pricing packages.
Note: Account admins see all quantitative answers and any additional qualitative answers given. Managers see quantitative answers for their direct report hierarchy and for anyone whose Check-ins they follow.
Steps
- Go to Insights Dashboard in the left-hand navigation.
- Click the Reports tab.
- Click Explore in the Polls box.
- Use the filters at the top of the page to locate the question you want to report on.
- Click the specific question you want to report on.
- Click Download Answers.
- Select the fields to include or exclude in your download.
- Click Download CSV.
What a Successful Download Looks Like
A CSV file downloads to your browser's default download location. The file contains one row per response for the selected question, with only the fields you selected in step 7.
If Something Goes Wrong
| Issue | Check | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| No questions appear after applying filters | Confirm the question was a one-time quantitative question, not a recurring question | Navigate to the Trends dashboard for recurring quantitative questions — see View Check-in metric trends over time (Trends Dashboard) |
| Polls box does not appear on the Reports tab | Confirm your account has access to Check-ins Reporting | Contact your 15Five account admin to verify your access level and pricing package |
| Download CSV button produces an empty file | Confirm at least one field is selected in the field chooser | Reopen Download Answers, select at least one field, then click Download CSV again |
| Explore button is not visible | Confirm you have manager or admin-level access to Check-ins Reporting | Contact your 15Five account admin to adjust your access |
