Create a talking point or action item for another person's 1-on-1 agenda

Admins and managers can add talking points and action items directly to another person's 1-on-1 agenda from the Actions page. When complete, the item appears on the current 1-on-1 agenda for both selected participants.

Before You Begin

  • You must have access to 1-on-1s. Available on Perform, Legacy Focus, and Total Platform packages.
  • Account admins can create items for any two people in the account. Managers can create items for any two people within their reporting hierarchy.
  • To create talking points or action items in bulk for multiple managers, see Add a talking point to your 1-on-1 agenda from Slack.

  2. Click the Manage Actions tab.
  3. Click + Create Action.
  4. Type the talking point or action item text in the input field.

  3. (Optional) Click the lock icon to make the item visible only to the owner.
  4. (Optional) Click the calendar icon and set a due date.

> The due date does not appear on the 1-on-1 agenda. It appears in the Actions List on each participant's homepage.
