Account Settings — Feature Overview

Account Settings is where each user manages their personal information, notification preferences, vacation scheduling, Check-in visibility, and account security. This article describes what each tab contains and links to task-specific instructions.

Tabs in Account Settings

Account Settings contains five tabs. The same role — any user — accesses all tabs.

My Information

The My Information tab contains personal and account fields you can view and, in most cases, edit.

Personal Information fields:

  • Profile photo (max 5MB; square images around 200×200 pixels recommended)
  • First name
  • Last name
  • Hire date
  • Preferred name
  • Pronouns
  • Job title
  • Employee ID
  • Email
  • Location
  • Timezone

Account Settings fields:

  • Check-in frequency
  • Check-in due day
  • Group membership
  • Direct manager
  • Default additional manager
  • Best-Self Review® viewer(s)
  • Permissions
  • Transform access
  • Outlook & Kona integrations
  • Survey permissions

Additional Information appears only if your organization has created custom attributes. Visibility and edit permissions for each custom attribute are set by the account admin who created it.

See Update your personal information in account settings for step-by-step instructions.

Notifications

The Notifications tab controls which in-app and email notifications you receive. If your organization uses Slack, you can also configure Slack notifications here.

See Configure 15Five Slack Notification Preferences for Slack-specific setup.

Vacations

The Vacations tab lets you schedule time off so Check-ins are skipped during that period. Vacations in 15Five exist solely to pause Check-in generation — they are not a general absence record.

See Set a vacation for yourself to skip Check-ins for instructions.

Check-in Visibility

The Check-in Visibility tab shows who can view your Check-ins and whose Check-ins you can view. This tab appears only if Check-ins is enabled for your organization.

See Who can see my Check-ins? for a full explanation of visibility rules.

Security

The Security tab contains options for managing how you sign in to 15Five:

  • Set up two-factor authentication
  • Enable Google sign-in
  • Change your password

If your organization uses Single Sign-On (SSO), some or all of these options will not be available.

The My Security Audit sub-tab displays security events for your account over the past six months, including sign-ins, added vacations, and profile updates.

See Set up two-factor authentication and manage security settings for instructions.

How to Open Account Settings
