Analyze Performance Ratings in a Review Cycle

Use Performance Ratings+ (PR+) reporting to view, filter, and compare performance ratings across participants in a review cycle. When complete, the Performance Ratings+ section is visible on the Summary tab with filtered data populated.

> Note: Your organization may have renamed this feature. If you don't see "Performance Ratings+" in your navigation, check with your admin for the name used in your account.

Before You Begin

  • Your account must have Performance Ratings+ enabled. See Manage Performance Ratings+ settings for instructions.
  • You must be a Review Admin, Cycle Collaborator, or Manager with direct reports in the cycle.
  • Managers can only view ratings for their direct reports. If hierarchy visibility is enabled, skip-level managers can also view their full reporting hierarchy.
  • Participants can view their own rating only if participant visibility is enabled in the cycle settings.

Steps

  1. Go to Reviews in the left-hand navigation.
  2. Click the relevant review cycle name.
  3. Click Company's Results (Review Admins and Cycle Collaborators) or Team's Results (Managers).
  4. Click the Summary tab.
  5. Scroll to the Performance Ratings+ section.
  6. Click People to filter by individual or reporting hierarchy.
  7. Click Demographics & People Data to filter by demographic attributes.
  8. Click Compare by Attribute to view ratings side by side across groups.
  9. Click the three-dot menu on any rating row, then click View score distribution.

If Something Goes Wrong

Issue Check Fix
Performance Ratings+ section does not appear on Summary tab Confirm PR+ is enabled for this cycle Go to the cycle settings and verify PR+ is turned on. See Manage Performance Ratings+ settings.
Filters return no results Confirm the selected cycle includes participants matching the filter criteria Clear all filters and reapply one at a time to isolate the empty segment.
Compare by Attribute option is not visible Confirm at least two groups exist in the cycle for the selected attribute Add participants to a second group or choose a different attribute that has multiple values.
Team's Results tab is not visible Confirm you have direct reports enrolled in this cycle Contact your Review Admin to verify participant assignments. See Who are my review admins?.
