This article explains how to access the Check-ins Questions dashboard and apply filters to customize your view. When complete, you will see the answers table, graph, and metrics tables populated with data for your selected filters.
Before You Begin
- You must have Check-ins Reporting access. This feature is available on Perform, Legacy Focus, and Total Platform plans.
- Account admins see metric data for the entire organization and Check-in answers for individuals they have permission to view. Managers see metric data and answers only for individuals they have permission to view.
Steps
- Go to Outcomes Dashboard or Dashboard in the left-hand navigation.

- Click the Platform Reports tab.
- Click Explore in the Check-ins box.
- Click Questions in the top navigation.
- Apply the People filter to select the individuals or segments to include:
- By your org — your direct reports or hierarchy - By individuals — any individual employee across the organization - By direct reports — a specific manager's direct reports - By hierarchy — all employees reporting up to a specific person - By group — all employees within a specific group, organized by group type
- Apply the Check-in frequency filter to narrow results to a specific cadence: weekly, every other week, or monthly.
- Apply the Time frame filter to select a preset date range (last month, last 3, last 6, or last 12 months) or enter a custom date range.
- Check Include active Check-in data to include submitted Check-ins due after the selected time frame.
- Review the answers table and graph. Select one of three views:
- Overall answer rate — trend and total percentage of all questions answered over the selected period - Optional answer rate — trend and total percentage of optional questions answered over the selected period - Answers with comments — trend and total percentage of answers that received at least one manager comment over the selected period
- Click See answers to questions under the graph to open the Answers report.

- Review the Individual metrics and Group metrics tables at the bottom of the dashboard.
- Click See individual metrics or See group metrics to open the Metrics report.

What Correct Completion Looks Like
The answers table and graph display data for your selected filters. The Individual metrics and Group metrics tables are populated at the bottom of the page. If either table shows no data, verify your filter selections return results for the selected time frame.
