Before You Begin
- You must have access to Best-Self Review® Reporting.
- Your role must be Review admin, Cycle collaborator, or Manager.
- This feature requires the Perform or Total Platform pricing package.
Steps
- Click Reviews in the left-hand navigation.
- Click the name of the review cycle you want to access.
- On the Overview tab, click the Download button to the right of the review cycle name.
- Select your desired report from the dropdown menu.
Available Progress Reports
Full Progress Report
Contains all participant data including review writers, submission timestamps, questions and answers, calibration session status, and review acknowledgment information.
Who can download it: Review admins and Cycle collaborators can download for all participants. Managers can download for their direct reports only.
When it's available: Anytime after the cycle start date. Data updates as reviews are submitted until the cycle is locked.
Fields included: Employee first name, Employee last name, Employee email, Manager ID, Manager first name, Manager last name, Manager title, Additional manager first/last name(s), Peer reviewer first/last name(s), Employee review submission timestamp, Peer review submission timestamp(s), Additional manager review submission timestamp(s), Manager review submission timestamp, Shared results timestamp, Finalized results timestamp, Self review questions and answers, Manager review questions and answers, Additional manager review questions and answers, Peer review questions and answers, Private Manager Assessment questions and answers, Acknowledgment timestamp, Acknowledgment comments, Calibration session status
Common uses:
- Filter the Submit date columns to identify unsubmitted reviews.
- Check the Calibration session status column to audit participant inclusion in calibration sessions.
- Sort the Acknowledgement column to see which employees have acknowledged results.
- Keep this report on file as a final record after locking the cycle.
Peer Nomination Status
Contains information about participants' peer nominations and peer review submission status.
Who can download it: Review admins and Cycle collaborators only.
When it's available: Anytime after the cycle start date. Data updates as nominations are accepted or declined and as peer reviews are submitted until the cycle is locked.
Fields included: Participant name, Participant email, # of nominated peers, Peer reviewer name(s), Peer reviewer email(s), Who each peer was nominated by, Manager name, Manager email, Manager approval status, Peer acceptance status, Final peer nomination status, Peer review submission timestamp, Peer nomination removal timestamp
Common uses:
- Check the number of nominated peers per participant as the Select peers and Approve peers milestones approach.
- Sort the Peer Reviewer name column to identify anyone over-nominated across participants.
- Identify peers who haven't accepted nominations so you can follow up before the Peer reviews milestone.
Participants Progress Tracker
Shows which reviews have and have not been written for each participant.
Who can download it: Review admins and Cycle collaborators only.
When it's available: Anytime after the cycle start date. Data updates as reviews are submitted until the cycle is locked.
Fields included: Participant first name, Participant last name, Participant email, Manager first name, Manager last name, Additional manager email, Additional manager first/last name, # of submitted reviews / # of available reviews, Status (No reviews submitted, Some reviews submitted, All reviews submitted), Names of people who have and haven't submitted reviews by review type, Names of people who have started drafts by review type, Share results status, Share timestamp, Finalize results status, Finalize timestamp
Common uses:
- Use the Unsubmitted reviews columns to identify outstanding reviews and who is responsible.
- Use the Draft reviews columns to see which review writers have started but not submitted.
- Sort the Share results and Finalize results columns to identify managers who need help as the cycle closes.
- Keep this report on file as a master participant list after locking the cycle.
Review Writers Progress Tracker
Shows which reviews each review writer has and has not submitted.
Who can download it: Review admins and Cycle collaborators only.
When it's available: Anytime after the cycle start date. Data updates as reviews are submitted until the cycle is locked.
Fields included: Review writer first name, Review writer last name, Review writer email, Manager first name, Manager last name, Additional manager email, Additional manager first/last name, # of submitted reviews / # of total assigned reviews, Status (No reviews submitted, Some reviews submitted, All reviews submitted), Names of participants whose reviews are assigned and submitted/unsubmitted by review type, Names of participants the writer has started drafts for by review type
Common uses:
- Use the Unsubmitted reviews columns to identify which outstanding reviews a person still needs to complete.
- Keep this report on file as a master list of review writer completion status after locking the cycle.
If Something Goes Wrong
