Career Hub — Feature Overview

Career Hub gives employees, managers, and admins a shared workspace to support career growth conversations. It organizes career development into four sequential tabs — Role Clarity, Strengths, Career Vision, and Growth Plan — that employees complete and share with their managers. Managers review their direct reports' answers to prepare for career conversations, and admins configure the foundational data (job information, competencies, and career paths) that employees reference.

Available in: Perform and Total Platform packages Roles: Employee, Manager, Account Admin

Feature Structure

Role Clarity

The Role Clarity tab displays job descriptions and responsibilities uploaded by admins or managers alongside the employee's own responsibilities, projects, and tasks. Employees rate each responsibility by how energizing they find it. Energizing ratings remain private until the employee shares them with their manager.

Strengths

The Strengths tab is where employees record their top strengths, values, and passions. Answers entered here are visible to the employee and their manager immediately — no share action is required.

Career Vision

The Career Vision tab prompts employees to connect their strengths and energizing work to an aspirational career direction. All answers remain private until the employee shares them. After sharing, the manager can view them. Employees can continue editing after sharing — the manager receives a notification when updates are made.

Growth Plan

The Growth Plan tab lets employees create career goals and track progress toward them. The Growth Plan is visible to the employee and their manager. Account admins cannot view individual Growth Plan pages but can run a report on all company goals and progress.

Competencies and Career Paths

Employees can view career paths and the competencies required for each, giving them context to discover roles aligned with their strengths and interests.
