Configure High Fives feature settings

Account admins can configure High Fives feature settings to control where High Fives appear, which values can be tagged, and what leaderboard data is visible. When complete, changes are saved per tab and reflected immediately in 15Five.

Before You Begin

  • You must be an Account Admin to access feature settings.
  • High Fives is available on the Perform, Legacy Focus, and Total Platform pricing packages.
  • To enable hashtags, your company values must be added to 15Five first. See Add, edit, or delete company values for instructions.

Steps

  1. Click the gear icon in the bottom-left corner of 15Five.
  2. Select Features from the dropdown menu.
  3. Click High Fives.
  4. Configure each setting as needed — see Settings Reference below.
  5. Click Save within each tab after making changes.

Settings Reference

High Fives in Check-ins

Controls whether employees can give High Fives from within a Check-in.

  • Everyone — all employees can give High Fives from Check-ins.
  • Specific groups — only selected groups can give High Fives from Check-ins.
  • Disabled — no one can give High Fives from Check-ins.
Note: If this setting is disabled, employees can still give High Fives from the High Fives Feed and Slack.

High Five Feed

Enables or disables the High Five Feed (the High Fives dashboard).

  • When enabled, public High Fives are visible in 15Five and employees can give High Fives in real time.
  • When disabled, the High Fives Feed is hidden and real-time High Fives are not available. Employees can still give High Fives from within Check-ins and Slack.

Hashtags

Controls whether employees can tag company values as hashtags when giving a High Five.

Enable this setting to allow company values to appear as selectable hashtags in the High Five composer. Company values must be configured before hashtags appear. See Add, edit, or delete company values and Include a company value hashtag in a High Five for instructions.

Leaderboard

Controls which leaderboard elements appear on the High Fives dashboard.

Configure any combination of the following:

  • Trending company values — displays which company values are being tagged most frequently.
  • Most appreciated — displays employees who have received the most High Fives.
  • Top High Fivers — displays employees who have given the most High Fives.

Enable or disable these options at any time. Changes are reflected on the High Fives dashboard immediately after saving.

Sharing High Fives (Slack Integration)

Controls whether High Fives are shared to Slack.

Click the Slack integration link on this settings tab and follow the setup instructions to connect. Once connected, High Fives given in 15Five can be posted to a designated Slack channel. See Give a High Five using Slack for employee-facing instructions.

Note: Employees can also give High Fives directly from the 15Five Slack app. See Give a High Five using Slack.
